Optimism Thought of the Week
You ever feel that you are not moving along at all, or that you are at a standstill and that nothing is happening at the moment. Things are either motionless, or that everyone else is moving around you and you are not? One way for us to determine movement, is for us to measure from a spot where we once stood.
To one watching this train approaching from a distance it appears it’s not moving very fast, only the engineer is aware on how quickly the engine is moving along. Only the engineer is aware from where the train started and where it’s destined. Though it may appear you’re not moving at any particular moment, if you continue to move forward you’re gaining speed.
